Guiding Your Customers to Quality Hair Extensions
Stylists, your customers are busy. Many of them are doing their research online, and they'd even like to purchase online, in the comfort of their own home. Whether or not your customers are using Babe hair extensions (of course, that's what we'd recommend!), our greater goal is to help you pass on quality information and cultivate a greater understanding of extensions overall. Here's a quick and easy guide in helping your customers evaluate potential hair extensions, whether they're buying them online or in the salon. Remember, the better quality the extensions, the easier your installation job will be!
Remy Hair -  Unless you’re looking specifically for synthetic, 100% Remy is the most ideal extension method. Remy means that all the hair cuticles are facing the right direction which reduces tangling and matting and makes the hair last longer. If a website doesn't specifically state that the extensions are 100% Human Remy Hair, then they most likely aren't. (All of Babe’s hair is 100% human, except for our synthetic line.)
Color Match - If your customers are shopping online, make sure they know that all computer screens vary, so matching their own hair to a thumbnail .jpg can be tricky. If they're purchasing directly in the store, it's a bit easier. Ultimately, the best way to find your color is to use a color swatch. Hair swatches are great because you can compare colors in real life. You can order one directly from Babe here!
Quantity - An important question for customers is how much hair actually comes in a pack. A pack of hair extensions may seem like a bargain at first glance, but if there isn’t very much hair in every package, it's not a good deal in the long run. That’s why it is crucial to know how much each individual strand is going to cost, so customers can get the most hair for the best price.
Note that not every strand is the same. Some strands are as small as ½ gram, and others others are more. (Babe’s strands are 1 gram each.) Encourage customers to make note of how many grams are contained in each pack so they can compare and get the best deal.
Ratings and Reviews - If  they’re purchasing from a company that they have never done business with before, it’s always good practice to do a little research online. Reading customer reviews can be a great source of information. Not every company is perfect all the time, but you’ll get a sense of whether it’s a trustworthy business from others who have worked with them before.
Customer Service - What if they have questions? Live chat and a phone number to call are a extremely useful, and when available, customers shouldn't hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
Guiding customers to hair quality hair extensions is easy when you know what to look for. At Babe, we stand by all of our products but also encourage customers to become educated and make their own decisions. As a stylist, you can guide them there!
