It’s time to blow out the candles and have a slice of cake because Babe is turning 15! From seeing thousands of hair transformations, to witnessing our community advance in their careers, sitting among the top brands in the hair extension industry has been such a gratifying experience. 

Just as you continue to elevate your craft, we want to grow right alongside you. After over a decade of innovation, we decided to mark this milestone with a major upgrade... Surprise! Babe’s getting a makeover! We're enhancing every aspect of our brand and introducing you to the new Babe look and feel.

Our Latest Launches

Delivering premium products and the best stylist experience has been our priority since Babe’s founding. Check out some of our most memorable collection debuts. 

Curly Hair Extensions 

Stylists see clients with all types of hair textures on any given day. To help them expand their service offerings, we launched our curly extension line in March 2023. With 28 shades to choose from and both 22-inch tape-in and fusion offerings, our curly extensions maintain hydration and shine while providing full coverage for clients.  

Turning up the volume with Curly Hair Extensions marked a vital expansion of Babe’s inventory!

Hybrid Weft Extensions 

The great customizable or comfortable debate has troubled extension specialists since the first weft application. In May 2023, Babe shook the extension market with the introduction of its Ideal Hybrid Weft, an extension that melds the best features of our Machine-Sewn and Hand-Tied Wefts. Strong enough to cut without unraveling. Light enough to layer without weighing clients down.  

To provide even more options for both stylists and clients, we also introduced a 14-inch option in July 2024.

Quick Change Hair Extension Tools

Stylists know the hassle of looping dozens of beads before an installation—and hunting down said beads when they inevitably tumble onto the salon floor. Well, in June 2023, we decided to make applications ultra-easy with our Quick Change Beads and Anchor!  

Designed to eliminate all prep work, the Quick Change Beads feature five loops of 25 pre-loaded beads. Pair with the Quick Change Anchor—a loop tool that holds the bead string in a straight line while you work. Thanks to stylist feedback, we were able to deliver a product that makes a stylist’s daily routine so much easier. 

Prioritizing Education for Every Stylist

We know that becoming certified in hair extensions can transform a stylist’s career. As the most profitable salon service category, extensions allow stylists to magnify their profit-per-hour without spending extra time behind the chair. Plus, since extensions are the fastest-growing salon category, clients seek out stylists offering extensions more and more every day.  

Since Babe’s beginning, we have aimed to make our education customizable to all stylists’ needs. Whether you are an online, on-demand student or an experiential, live learner, our education adjusts to your schedule. From method-specific certifications to our Mastery Tour (2-day, all-methods events), to our Extending Your Profits Course, we take stylists from extension newbies to leaders in the industry. In the past five years alone, Babe has changed the lives of over 22,000 stylists with our expert education.

 A Bold New Babe 

So, now that we’ve leafed through the memory albums, what can we share about Babe’s makeover? Well, to start, we’re modernizing Babe from end to end, refreshing her with a sleeker look that better suits her playful energy and premium products. Look forward to bold, vibrant designs that appeal to clients and stylists alike.  

To help Babe stand out in the crowd, we’re also remodeling our packaging, selecting bright colors to draw clients’ attention and a more compact size for easy display. Organizing our inventory with method-specific colors also allows for swift product selection. Plus, because Babe (and our stylist community) strives toward sustainability, we also prioritized easily recyclable packaging with minimized cardboard.
